Patrick Berwald arrives in Benchmark with a distinguished career of two decades in the field of food and beverages. He was previously Director of Food and Beverage at Loews Hotels in New York, where he was responsible for the departmental food and beverage strategy, financial performance, operational inefficiencies, investment projects and concept development.
Mr. Berwald has worked with brands such as Thompson Hotels, Hilton and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, including properties such as the iconic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and the prestigious Willard Hotel in Washington, DC. In Las Vegas, he was part of the opening management team for the Paris Hotel & Casino and worked with MGM Resorts International as well as Caesar Entertainment.
Patrick Berwald received his culinary training at the famous Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and attended the Cornell University School of Hospitality, with a focus on finance and hospitality. hotel marketing.
